The Asylum Productions studio is located on one acre of wooded property at the nothern foot of the Catskill Mountains. Creative work happens here from writing retreats to extended residencies. The studio can be rented for the purpose of retreat or as a film location.

Structured Writing Retreats
"... a great balance between quiet, isolated sustained writing time and the writing exercises "playtime" and stirring conversation that stimulates writing. The beautiful studio has wonderful outdoor and indoor serene nooks for writing, gathering thoughts and tackling creative challenges. Joining in the cooking for meals offered a great time to get to know the other writers creating a comfortable and open environment for reading and exchanging work at the end of the retreat.
